Last week it was announced that Dundee had been rated as one of the best places to visit in Europe by Lonely Planet. We are thrilled to see Dundee getting more exposure and the attention we feel it deserves. We love being based in Dundee and to celebrate the news have asked some of our lovely staff for their favourite things about Dundee.
Nina - Head of Business Development
"Dundee is ‘compact’ but has everything you need from a city. It has a strong cultural and creative scene, great bars and restaurants, and breathtaking scenery. Dundee has a really unique identity and it feels like a really cool place to be. There’s a lot of development happening right now too, and it’s really exciting to be around.”
Marc - CEO
"Having lived all over the world, I’ve settled in Dundee and couldn’t be happier. It’s just big enough while also feeling small enough to be cool and different."
Lara - Lead Game Artist
"I love Dundee’s location - It's centrally placed for easy access to Scotland’s other major cities, but it’s also a hop and a skip away from beautiful beaches and rural nature spots. Best of both worlds!"
David - Game Producer
"For me, Dundee is such a dynamically creative hub and full of people who love videogames as much as I do, I can always find things to do or people to talk about games to. Dundee also has really spectacular views of the river and, especially on a nice day, it’s so close to several beaches."
Jake - Senior Game Designer
"I love that Dundee has a small town feel with all the amenities of a big city. Forget about long commutes, forget worrying about timing and the public transport shuffle, everything is so close in Dundee. I have been here for over a year, and the views I get around the city still impress me. It’s hard to pin down the culture of Dundee, it’s young, it's creative, classically Scottish and a little weird (in a great way!)"
Sarah - Recruitment and Office Manager
“The location! In one hour you could be skiing in the mountains or just over an hour, sampling the sights of Edinburgh - especially useful in August when the Fringe Festival is on!”
