Following on from last year, Tag will be taking part in SpecialEffect’s One Special Day campaign with another Bake Off fundraiser! The competition is heating up as our team prepare to compete to create a bake that would make Mary Berry proud.
One Special Day takes place on Friday 4th October and is designed to bring the video games industry together to help gamers’ charity SpecialEffect raise £350,000. As big supporters of the charity, this is now a key date in the Tag Games calendar and something we have to be a part of.
In 2018, nearly 50 games industry companies took part, including household names like EA, SEGA, Supercell and Rovio. The event attracted international attention and resulted in extensive positive publicity for the industry and the companies involved.
Supporting #OneSpecialDay will help the thousands of disabled people every year who ask for the SpecialEffect’s assistance. Their teams of therapists and technical specialists travel across the UK for face-to-face assessments and loans of customised technology to help bring joy into the lives of people with disabilities and in turn, the charity pass on what they learn to help hardware and software developers all over the world make their technology easier to use for as many people as possible.
